- 01Bare concrete
Your slab as it is today: stains, cracks, old sealer and all.
- 02Diamond grinding
A planetary grinder opens the surface so the coating can bond, with a vacuum following right behind it.

A penetrating primer is rolled into the fresh profile and soaks into the slab.
Dry to touch: typically 1–3 hours - 04Colour coat
The base coat goes down in the colour of your blend, spread and back-rolled while the next batch is mixed on the dry side.
Flake goes in while it is still wet - 05Flake broadcast
Handfuls of flake are thrown up into the wet coat until it is fully covered, then the loose chips are scraped off.
Hardens before scraping: typically 1–2 hours - 06Clear topcoat
A clear topcoat is rolled over the flake, then cures to the sheen you chose.
Walk on it: typically after 6–24 hours - 07Your finished floor
The floor you picked in the studio, in the room it was made for.
Park on it: typically after 1–7 days
